Royal Chimney Sweep & Duct Cleaning NJ cleans, inspects and repairs chimneys and cleans dryer vents and air ducts for homes in North and Central New Jersey. This policy describes the information this website collects, why, and who can see it. Phone calls are not covered here, only this website and its form.

Nothing is sold on this site and there are no accounts. You can call (888) 329-6712 or send the estimate form, and that is all the site asks of you.

The estimate form asks for your name, a phone number and, if you like, an email address. It also asks where the work is (street, city, state and ZIP code) and which service you need. You may also tell us anything we should know before the visit and add up to five photos. Only the fields marked as required are required.

The form also asks, in two separate boxes, whether you agree to receive text messages about your request and marketing text messages, and the boxes you check are sent with the request. Both are your own choice, and the section on text messages (SMS) below explains what each covers.

A submitted form also carries the address of this website, your IP address and your browser type, so we know which website the request came from and can filter spam. Text typed into the form and never sent stays in your browser.

If you reach this website from an online ad, the page address can include an ad click identifier (such as gclid, wbraid or gbraid). When you send a form, that identifier is sent with it so we can tell which ads bring requests. It does not identify you by name.

The server that delivers these pages keeps a standard access log (IP address, browser type, time of the request) for running and securing the site. It is not used to profile visitors.

This website uses Google Analytics, a measurement service of Google LLC. It records the pages you view and how you use them, an approximate location worked out from your IP address, and the type of device and browser you use, and it sets its own cookies to tell visits apart. When you send a form, Google Analytics can also detect the email address, phone number and street address you typed and send them to Google in hashed form (turned into a code that does not show the original text), so that Google can measure which visits lead to a request.

This website also uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a measurement service by Cloudflare, Inc. that counts page views and loading times without cookies and without following you across other websites.

This website counts a few anonymous interactions, such as taps on the phone number, clicks on buttons and starting or sending a form, together with the page where they happen. Our website platform, LunOS, keeps these counts without cookies and without your name, phone number or email, and they are used only to understand which pages help visitors reach us.

Some pages of this website show a map from Google Maps, a service of Google LLC. The map loads from Google, which may set its own cookies and receive your IP address. On this website the map loads only when you choose to open it.

If you change settings in the accessibility panel, those choices are stored in your browser, in its local storage and in a cookie named lunos_a11y, so they stay in place on the next page. Both hold only those choices, and the cookie lasts up to a year unless you clear it. Like any cookie, your browser sends it back to this site with each page it asks for, and it is not used for anything else.

To block spam, our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, a security check by Cloudflare, Inc. that reads technical information about your browser and device. It does not use advertising cookies.

We use your details to answer the request you sent, by phone or email, or by text message about your request and your appointments if you agreed to receive text messages, and to keep a record of the job so the next conversation starts where the last one ended. If you also checked the separate, optional marketing box, we may text you seasonal maintenance reminders and occasional offers. We do not use your details for anything else, except as described above.

Form submissions reach us through LunOS, the website platform that hosts this site, which stores them for us. LunOS does not use them for its own purposes. Beyond that, your information stays with this business, except as described in the analytics section above. We do not sell it or trade it.

Links to our Google listing, map and reviews take you to Google, whose own privacy policy applies there.

We keep a request for as long as it is useful for the work it concerns, and afterward as part of normal business records. Ask us and we will delete yours sooner.
